Here’s a typical first visit progression:
Day 1 – Start-Up Training
• Time: 30-60 minutes with coaching
• Your first visit begins with our Start-Up training program. This is a comprehensive foundation, including safety briefings, a how-to guide, and flight training. You’ll start in our Assist system and work towards becoming a Certified Indoor Wingsuit Pilot (Proflyer). After this session, you’ll be able to safely perform solo belly flying in the tunnel.
• Flight time: Usually 30-60 minutes, split into 10-minute sessions with four flights of 2.5 minutes each.
• Video Overview: Watch a short video to see an overview of our Start-Up training on YouTube.
Some customers continue beyond Day 1 into Basic Skill Training. Flying more than 30 minutes on Day 1 is possible, but more than 60 minutes can be overwhelming and is not recommended.
Day 2–3 – Basic Skill Training
• Time: 30-50 minutes per day with coaching
• Next, you’ll progress into Basic Skill Training with a Flight Master instructing you. You’ll practice essential skills, including 2-way belly and back flying, and work on skill-improving exercises.
• This phase typically includes 30-90 minutes of flight time, depending on your rate of progression.
• You can opt to use your own intermediate suit during this phase.
Day 3–5 – Advanced Training
• Time: 30-50 minutes per day
• This phase focuses on advanced training in your area of interest. Popular options include acrobatics, transitions, advanced 2/3-way flying, Big Suit, and Tracking Suit training. We use our Adjustable Angle System to offer the best training conditions, with glide ratios ranging from 1.5 to 2.7.
• Training is coached by one of our expert Flight Masters.
• You may also choose to fly with friends for 2/3-way sessions, typically after completing the Basic Skill Training (Days 3–5).
• A mix of coached flying and shared sessions with a friend is also popular.
